| i have a Bryophyllum daigremontianum, and i was wondering would it hurt it to take it out of the pot and seperate it from others growing. there are a lot of them growing in one pot and i wanted to seperate them. i was just wondering how to go about that. any comments or advice is appreciated. thanks, amanda |

Hi there :-)
If the children of the mother plant are not very big yet (let's say up to 2 inches) I think it is OK to simply pull them out of the pot carefully. Even if you break some roots, it will grow OK in a new pot. (let it rest a few days, so that broken roots can dry and don't start any rottenness)
I never tried to divide 2 plants... I would keep them 'as is' and grow new plants in a new pot.
And yes, Bryophyllum daigremontianum is also called 'Mother of Thousands'.
