| subject Houghton vs Diagremontianum? |

What are the major differences between B. Houghton's Hybrid and B. Diagremontianum.
I believe I have both of the plants and they look very similar. What I have observed so far is that the leaves are basically the same shape, except one plant has spikier edges than the other, and the spikes are not spaced evenly. Also, I noticed the the spots on the backs of the leaves are different. One pant has the spots going horizontal on the leaves whereas the other plant, the spots are vertical to the leaves. Am I on the right track?
Thanks for your responses. |

Well, my Houghton's never became tall, but as far as i've seen, the edges of the Houghton's look like sharp saw teeth, while Diagrem. has more round teeth, which have a larger spacing. Furthermore the leaves of Houghtons are narrower. At least what i've seen. Just have a look at the PHOTO section or search on GOOGLE images.
Yours,
