subject Bryophyllum Hardiness in Southern Louisiana?

I'm going to be moving from Southwest Missouri to Southern Louisiana April 1st. I was wondering if anyone here could let me know if my Bryophyllums can/will survive outdoors down there? I'm thinking very likely not because it is soooo wet, but what if they were kept elevated (say on a second floor balcony), would the winter chill still kill them even if kept from getting too wet?
