I'm a college student at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. We started out with two of these plants, which I called Alien plants for a long time because I wasn't able to identify them. We now have a lot of them and some have flowered. I want to know more about these plants. I noticed that in some of the pictures on the website, the plants look more green. Ours have a purplish tint to them. When I crushed some of the leaves, I got three different colors and am wondering if I have more than one species, from the one we started from. I tried to download some pictures I've taken of the plants and of the flowers but am not sure if it was successful. Any information, and as much information, regarding these plants would be very useful!!! Thank you!!!
