Hey Kevin,
I have been looking for B. crenatum for so long. It was my grandmother's favorite plant. She called it "magic leaf". I had kept it going until about 10 years ago. I had no idea that there was a website and so much interest in these plants.
If you could send me some plantlets, I would be ever so grateful. I teach and want my students to have the same wonderment as I did (do). Any of the other varieties would be welcomed, also.
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Thom Green-Thumb |

Hi Thom,
I am sorry that I do not have B. crenatum. I have four other species (B. delagoensis, B. diagremontianum, B. gastonis-bonnieri, and B. cf. rosei??) but none of them have leaves that are roundish. Send me an email and we can discuss details.

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for such a speedy reply.
The 4 you have would be great and I will keep looking for the other.

Hi Thom!
Welcome aboard! :-)
I'd like to invite you to the Crassulaceae Maillist (click here).
It's a discussion group about the Crassulaceae (incl. Bryophyllum) - we have a yearly exchange there aswell.
I don't have a B. crenatum at the moment - it died due a fungus gnat attack ... but I'm sure someone at the group has one.
Yours,
Captain
PS.: Which message do you mean ?
If you checked the 'Notify me of Follow-Ups' checkbox, you get a notification from my server everytime a followup is posted. |

I got confused. I see that I get an update notifiction even when it is due to my last posting.
Will hold out hope for the B. crenatum.
Thanks,
Thom |

Ahh, I see. I will change the software this weekend. Thanks for pointing this out.
Re. B. crenatum: Just ask the group. People there are just wonderful! :-)

Captain. |
